Beijer Ref’s business concept is to be a group of companies that offers its customers added value through competitive solutions in the areas of refrigeration and air conditioning.
Business model and value chain
Sales are made primarily to refrigeration installation contractors, service companies and contracting companies. They in turn deliver and install solutions for end customers, such as a food shop or an office. The products are mainly sold via 450 branches in Beijer Ref’s 42 markets.
An offering that creates added value
We add value by doing as much groundwork as possible before the installer takes delivery of their products. Technical specifications are always readily available and Beijer Ref also offers regular training on new products. Our wide range of products and services mean that we can deliver small components and spare parts right through to entire systems giving a full added value offering.
A stable model
Beijer Ref’s business model has been durable and stable throughout its history. By focusing on trading and the distribution of refrigeration components, refrigeration systems and air conditioning, we have been able to achieve efficiency and good financial results.
The profitable sales growth of Beijer Ref has been achieved by the continuous development of our business and organisation. The most important factors to this successful business model have been: growing our market share in the transition to green technology, having a clear focus on cooling and HVAC and also having a strong group platform.
