Beijer Ref announces CFO leadership change

Beijer Ref AB, the global refrigeration wholesaler, announces today a leadership change of its chief financial officer (CFO) role.

Beijer Ref and Maria Rydén, executive vice president (EVP) and CFO, have today mutually agreed that Maria will leave the company. As her successor, Beijer Ref has today appointed Ulf Berghult as new EVP & CFO. Ulf has extensive experience of finance and as Group CFO at publicly listed, large international companies. He comes most recently from the role as Group CFO for Perstorp Group and has prior to that had the same role at Trelleborg Group, Dometic Group and Thule Group.

Maria Rydén will continue to serve as CFO until further notice. Ulf Berghult will start in his new position latest in April of 2022.

Christopher Norbye, CEO Beijer Ref, comments:

“I want to thank Maria for her commitment and service over the past four years. Maria has been an integral member of our executive management team since she started in 2017. We have only had a chance to work for a short time together since my arrival end of August this year, but the Board and I have a high appreciation and regard for her work and what she has contributed to Beijer Ref during her time. I am very happy to welcome Ulf to Beijer Ref. He has a very strong track record as a successful CFO from both publicly listed company groups as well as private equity owned international corporations. He will play a key role in the further development of the company where his background and previous experiences will be a great asset for us, as we plan to accelerate our future growth and mission to provide the market with global expertise in sustainable refrigeration and air conditioning.
